For Yamaha Motor Europe N.V., located at Schiphol-Rijk in the Netherlands, we are looking for a Service Coordinator in our Service Division.

About the role: As member of the Service Division's Technical Service department, you play an important role in coordinating and maintaining a high level of product quality and establish Customer service strategies for all Powered Vehicle (PV) land products.

Your role will be coordinating New Product Quality projects, Modification projects, the correct documentation and handling of market information, and quick and accurate technical product support towards YMENV stakeholders, Factories, Distributors and our Dealers across Europe. This is all to ensure after sales related issues are recognized and communicated to involved stakeholders in time to avoid problems to (re)occur, ensuring our customer's expectations and commitment to our brand image is secured.

You also support the Administrative - and maintaining system settings in the different Yamaha systems used within the Service Division, as well as creating and maintaining basic departments reports and invoice handling.

Your responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the implementation of defined product quality, service/after sales improvement projects and operational actions;
  • Coordinate the role out of product modifications and ensure each modification project is implemented via the set procedure for the involved stakeholders;
  • Coordinate the collecting of Product quality information and issues related to new models and report the results and potential solution and timing for Europe;
  • Secure the quality of issued Market Information (MI) via content monitoring of these MI's and guidance to the involved Distributor;
  • Being the PV product specialist; you act as a helpdesk for European Distributors, catcher of market problems and support Distributors, Dealers and YMENV stakeholders with technical problems and/or supply additional technical support;
  • Support YMRE(R&D) and Factories to achieve best possible product quality for all PV Products by coordinating the operational actions in Monitoring activities for new models;

What do you bring?

  • MBO / Bachelor's degree, or level of working experience, preferably in Automotive related technology,
  • 2 - 4 years of relevant work experience in the Automotive After Sales side at dealer or distributor level,
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office software tools like Team's Power Point, Excel & Word,
  • Willing to travel,
  • Result driven, creative mind, enthusiastic, pro-active, and strong focus on relation management,
  • Excellent knowledge of English language and Technical English, both spoken and written.
